The Director

Nicole Tori Rogoski, Nationally Registered Dance Educator, earned a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Choreography and Performance from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ms. Rogoski taught at Elm Creative Arts Elementary and the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, teaching and lecturing in creative dance, ballet, modern, jazz, anatomy, alignment and dance history. She attended the American College Dance Festival as a dancer and choreographer, studied at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and performed with the noranewdancecompany. In addition, Ms. Rogoski is licensed to teach in Wisconsin public schools, is certified in first aid and CPR, has worked with individuals with disabilities and is a member of the Wisconsin Dance Council and the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).
In 2001, Ms. Rogoski founded the Dance Education Center to provide a quality dance experience rich with technique and individual development. Since then, in addition to directing the school, she has presented at the NDEO national conference, has choreographed several community productions and has been a guest speaker at schools and universities. She has been published in Dance Teacher, Dance Magazine and the Journal on Dance Education and has been commended on her work by numerous dance professionals throughout the country. In 2009, Ms. Rogoski was honored as the outstanding National Registered Dance Educator at the National Dance Education Organization conference in New York City. Ms. Rogoski was also selected as UW-Madison’s School of Education 2010 Outstanding Recent Graduate.
