FAQs

What should my dancer wear to class?

Female dancers: solid color leotard with pink tights and pink ballet shoes with elastics sewn on and bows tucked in. Modern dancers, same attire with bare feet. Jazz, Tap and POP dancers, same attire with appropriate shoes and may add solid black dance pants. Hair must be secured in a bun or other style pulled away from the face and neck.

Male dancers: white t-shirt and black dance pants and appropriate shoes.

When should we arrive for class?

Classes begin and end on time. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your class time to neatly store belongings and take care of any bathroom needs. Dancers should be picked up promptly after class.

What do we do when we come for class?

All entering the space are asked to remove their shoes and store them on the shoe racks. This practice allows us to maintain a clean space while protecting dance shoes and dance flooring. Dancers should then check in with the safety squad attendant and then get ready for class.

Can parents watch class?

All studios have an observation window for occasional viewing. Parents are also encouraged to attend our Center Showings in December and May where we invite an audience into the studio for class demonstrations.

What to bring for class

Dancers in multiple classes should bring all dance shoes needed into the first class. This allows us to maintain our schedule so we are not waiting for students to go back to the dressing rooms. Training Program students must bring a water bottle filled with water only (no sports drinks or flavored water).
